This apartment is conceived around a single guiding principle: symmetry. More than a compositional device, it becomes the architectural language through which space is organized, movement is choreographed, and atmosphere is established.
Conceived by Cuaik | CDS, the project approaches interior architecture and furniture selection as a unified discipline, where every axis, proportion, and material contributes to a quietly balanced whole.
The intervention reveals and reinforces its inherent order. Classical proportions are reinterpreted through contemporary detailing, allowing oak paneling, textured plaster ceilings, finely crafted joinery, and carefully integrated lighting to establish a rhythm that unfolds consistently throughout the residence.
Throughout the apartment, each space is conceived around carefully established visual axes. The library, living room, dining room, and bar align through framed perspectives that create a sequence of interiors where architecture, furniture, and art remain in continuous dialogue.
Furniture selection was approached as an extension of the architecture itself. Rather than functioning as individual statements, each piece reinforces the project's underlying geometry, contributing to an interior where contemporary design, craftsmanship, and art coexist within a coherent architectural framework.
The result is an interior where symmetry is never ornamental—it is structural, experiential, and deeply atmospheric. Through measured proportions, restrained materiality, and meticulous detailing, Cuaik | CDS creates a residence that feels timeless without nostalgia, contemporary without insistence, and ultimately defined by an enduring sense of balance.
